Easy French Dip With Amazing Flavor

Crockpot French Dip

This is an old family favorite.

Equipment

  • Crock Pot
  • Frying pan

Ingredients

  • 1 Chuck roast
  • 3 cups water
  • 3/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 3/4 tsp oregano
  • 3/4 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp accent
  • 3/4 tsp onion salt
  • 3/4 tsp basil
  • 3/4 tsp lawrys seanon salt

Instructions

  • Brown the roast in a frying pan
  • Put roast into the crock pot
  • Add the water and then seasonings
  • Cook low for 8 hours
  • You can add some twice baked pototes with fruit and olives as some side dishes 🙂 ENJOY

Notes

This has the best flavor!!!! 
You can also cook this using the pre-sliced already cooked roast beef meat at Costco.  It has a great flavor.  But don’t put it in the crockpot.
just put the water and seasoning into a pot and with the already cooked meat and let it site and soak up the flavors over night.  
When ready to eat
Pull the meat out, put to the side, boil the juice, then let it cool down, when cooled down put the meat back in and let them meat warm up in the juice.  
You don’t want to boil the juices with the meat in it because it will make the meat rough, not as tender
