This is an old family favorite.
- 1 Chuck roast
- 3 cups water
- 3/4 tsp garlic salt
- 3/4 tsp oregano
- 3/4 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 and 1/2 tsp accent
- 3/4 tsp onion salt
- 3/4 tsp basil
- 3/4 tsp lawrys seanon salt
Brown the roast in a frying pan
Put roast into the crock pot
Add the water and then seasonings
Cook low for 8 hours
You can add some twice baked pototes with fruit and olives as some side dishes 🙂 ENJOY
This has the best flavor!!!!
You can also cook this using the pre-sliced already cooked roast beef meat at Costco. It has a great flavor. But don’t put it in the crockpot.
just put the water and seasoning into a pot and with the already cooked meat and let it site and soak up the flavors over night.
When ready to eat
Pull the meat out, put to the side, boil the juice, then let it cool down, when cooled down put the meat back in and let them meat warm up in the juice.
You don’t want to boil the juices with the meat in it because it will make the meat rough, not as tender
