  • 1 Large Bag Pellets (our favorite are the Traeger Hickory and Apple) these can be found at amazon or places like Cabellas

Mango Coleslaw

  • 3 Mangos Pieced (Pinterest has some great easy ways to cut a mango)
  • 1 cup White Wine Vinegar
  • 4 tbsp 4 Tbls sugar
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 bunch Cilantro chopped
  • 3 Sm Package Coleslaw (NO purple cabbage)
  • Celery seed to taste

Instructions

Cooking the pulled pork

  • Cover the pork in the rub
  • Smoke at 225 degrees at an hour and a half per pound
  • When its done take it out shred it and put it in your already warmed up crock pot to keep warm.

One the side we make the best mango coleslaw to go on top and I hate coleslaw, but this is a must for us

  • Cut up the Mango
  • Cut up the Cilantro
  • Combine vinegar, sugar and lemon juice
  • Pour over coleslaw, mango, and cilantro

When the meet is cooked you can have your favorite BBQ sauce homemade or in a bottle. Put on top of the meat and coleslaw!

    Notes

This is our most used smoker recipe BUT we love them all.  This is super easy to make and we make it for many big group events, like Super Bowl, or just big family parties 🙂
